Related to this quite a bit! I’ve been trying to figure out what things I can cut back on and which part of connectivity do I actually want. Seeking that balance one day at a time. :)
I'm also trying to break the habit of listening to a podcast as I do my daily walk or go to sleep.
It helps that I'm getting tired of podcasts. It's rare that I listen to one and can honestly say I learned something new instead of hearing a rehash of last year's podcasts.
Also: Your post made me miss San Francisco! Been a quarter of a century now since I lived there for a decade, and at least a decade since I enjoyed any quality time there. Need to get back for a week or so.
While I’m still fully plugged in, I decided my experiences don’t need to be documented. I went to a concert last year and my husband and I were the only ones in our section not holding up a phone. It’s so much more rewarding to enjoy an experience for yourself, rather than think about how and where you can share your photos and videos. Thanks for this reminder to unplug.
Loved loved loved this. ❤️ Been trying to do this for a couple years, but so worth it. Baby steps, as you said.
Thanks so much, Rebecca! Yup, one step at a time.

Thanks Melinda! It's tough for sure (but hopefully worth it)

Same here! I find myself spacing out while listening more and more. SF is so great! Seems like an amazing place to live.
